The Gorgle

By Emma Fischel

The Gorgle looks a bit like a 10 foot tall nightmare, and now it's awake, hungry and no one except Finn believes it exists.  This short read packs a real punch: it's funny, exciting and scary and keeps you guessing right till the end.

  1. I like to read the books along side the children at Mere Brow CE Primary School. I started with this book. I wonder if the children will have the same opinion of it as me! Mrs A

  2. This was the first book that I read. The children's responses to it were quite different to mine!

  6. I would recommend this book as it was very exciting . Once into the book I found the story funny especially when Finn played tricks and pranks on the pp's. I thought it was amazing when the Gorgle tries to frighten the pp's, Ollie and finn smash all the windows.
    4 out of 5 stars
