The Boy who Swam with Piranhas

By David Almond

An odd story, with lots of humour and a healthy dose of wonder! Stanley Potts is an ordinary boy who sets off on a journey of discovery after his Uncle Ernie turns their house into a fish canning factory. On Stanley's travels he eventually meets Pancho Pirelli, the man who swims in a tank full of perilous piranhas. Will Stan be bold enough to dive in the churning waters himself and choose his own destiny?
